KENYA.
The highest
mountain in Kenya with its snow and ice capped rock peak standing
high above the beautiful agricultural country. There are three
main peaks in Mt. Kenya. Brell trek offers itinerary to Pt.
Lenana (4985 m) which, while a hard climb can be achieved
by a reasonably fit person. The route chosen is the Naro moru
route. The first night will be spent out at the Naro moru
river lodge, which supplies equipment and porters for the
climb. Full catering will be provided each day and a list
of climber's equipment will be advised at the time of reservation.

DAY ONE:
BASE HOTEL, 13,900 FT MACKINDERS.
Drive north to Naro Moru River lodge for lunch,
dinner and overnight stay.
DAY
TWO: DUDMAIER CAMP 11,000FT.
Picnic lunch and drive to the roundhead
at 11,000 ft. and afternoon walk with overnight stay at dudmaeir
camp in high altitude tent.

DAY
THREE: LIKI MARTH COM 13,090 FT.
Trek across the moorland to 13,000 ft. and
then into the sirimon valley. Climb up to spend the night
at approximately 13,000 ft.
DAY
FOUR: HALL TARNS 14,000FT.
Cross several valleys amidst spectacular
scenery to spend the night camping at the Hall Tarns.

DAY
FIVE: SUMMIT DAY 16,355FT.
An early morning ascend to Pt. Lenana, takes
approximately four hours. After photography descend to Mackinders
camp at 13,900 ft. for the night.
DAY
SIX: BASE HOTEL
Leaving early you descend for Naro Moru
trail to meet your vehicle and return to Naro Moru River lodge
for celebration
